In September 2001 they formed the non-profit Cultural Association “The Orobians”.
It represents the will of some people, who have been gathering regularly one time a week since January 2001 to play and discuss -that is cultivate- their great passion: Music. Especially live music, which requires study, discipline and the desire to share with other people, besides a great will to make sacrifices.
These people come from different professional fields, but all of them are strongly tied to the world of music culture.
At the present time, The Orobians Association counts 211 members and it’s a reality made up by people who, despite everyday obligations, try to contribute to what is explicitly suggested in the Fundamental Principles of Italian Constitution (art.4, ch.2):
“According to capacity and choice, every citizen has the duty to undertake an activity or a function that will contribute to the material and moral progress of society:”
